Imogen's Finally Here!!!!!!!!

Well, she finally made it! We went to the hospital on Sunday night at 7:40 pm and I finally left at 4:30 pm Saturday, not a moment too soon. We had to have three pessaries and a cesarean in the end but she really is worth it. The staff at the hospital could not have been more wonderful and so helpful with everything. Even though it was a pain being there so long it was really nice to have people at my beck and call answering questions constantly about everything. I never knew that I'd have so many and so many about things that I thought I knew about too, you realise that you really don't know anything.

She came on Wednesday morning at 3:52, the 16th and weighed 8 pounds 4 ounces. She has the most hair of any new born that I've ever seen, I hope it comes across in the photos. She looks quite a lot like daddy and not just because of the hair which is a good thing as he and his family are really very attractive people. Her full name is Imogen Patricia Wasylyna Norton-Jones. The middle names are Joe's nan's name and my mother's middle name. She really suits Imogen though for any one who knows me more often than not she's being called some crazy nickname. I'm so cruel to people!!!! Here she is with daddy, I won't show you the awful one taken of all of us just after the operation. I'm sure when I have time I'll have loads more photos for you.

You are going to end up calling her Jen for short! Or Immy Whimmy Jimmy! But I prefer Jen!
Congratulations! What a long wait!

Congratulations Colleen, I can totally empathize with you about the long hospital stay and the unsuccessful inductions but in the end I would do all over again to. I hope you are adjusting to the new schedule and enjoying it! We were laughing about all the nicknames that Oscar has as well, he will probably answer to Stinker and Pudgy before his own name!

Congratulations Colleen! She does look beautiful in the pictures! And at 8lbs you should probably be glad you had a c-section! We wish you all the happiness with your growning family.
