Things are looking better

I don't want to jump to any conclusions, but it looks like Henry may be getting better (at least that's what I'm praying). He had surgery today to make sure there was nothing stuck anywhere that was causing his fever and there wasn't which was good. They also knew that it wasn't pancreatitis and the blood tests were ok. Today they had planned to push stronger medication on him as they knew what it wasn't but as of about 6pm the vet rang to say that he was looking lots better and they didn't need to push the strong drugs. They are going to leave him overnight and hopefully he'll look even better still and they will try more food and then if he can keep this lot down. I'm very excited but scared to get too excited. Yesterday night I was convinced he was going to die and today I'm more hopeful but still scared that things will change. If you're reading this please say a prayer for my pooch, he really is the best dog in all the world. Here's another shot of him in happier times.

Dogs are funny creatures eh! My sister-in-law called yesterday to tell me that their yellow lab ate a bunch of socks...and a pen...and a deflated soccer ball...and some fabric softener sheets! He had to have surgery and is home doing fine now. Hope your Henry is smarter than Cody and gets better soon!
