Work, work, work

I'm back full time now, on week two. It's great, but boy do I miss Imogen. It's so crappy really, I think from now on I'll never be truly happy, I suppose that's the lot of a mother. If I don't work full time I have no money, I'm bored and don't enjoy Imogen as I should, but if I do work full time I have to miss Imogen and feel guilty that I don't get to see her more. I don't think I'm going to win this one so I suppose I should just try to get over it. Work is good though, but at the moment I'm not signed off to see customers yet (it's a regulated environment, hence I have to jump through a few hoops before I'm allowed to give advice again) so it can be a little boring. When I'm busy doing something it's not so bad as I don't think about her so I just need to hope that I get really busy. On the plus side she seems to enjoy going to Nanny and Grandad's house and to Kay's (her childminder) three times a week. We're so lucky to have found Kay. She lives across the street and has two girls herself who seem to really love Ims and she definitely loves them too. Paige is 9 and Abby is 3 and so cute!!! I'm baby Imogen's mummy when she talks to me, CUTE!!

She's really scooting around these days and of course going after all the things she shouldn't. She loves cables and cords that she could wrap around her little neck. I think she goes after them now to hear us say NO and that we're going to come after her. I can tell it's a game to her. The lounge is constantly messy these days with her stuff strewn everywhere, but she's happy so I'm happy to go with it. Here she is from yesterday enjoying her changing bag.

I miss the updates! How is Ims? You must be getting ready for her first birthday! Can you believe how quickly time flies???? Work must be busy for you - no posts for a month! LOL
