It has started, the end of our lives as we know it. For about the last week or so Imogen has been slithering around and she's getting more and more accomplished everyday. I can no longer leave her sitting in the lounge by herself, even for a second. I knew it had to happen sometime, but I don't think you really appreciate what a pain in the bottom it is until they do start to move. She's not that quick yet, but she's working out slowly that if she gets on her knees there's the chance she can move that much more efficiently. Bless her though, you can see she's loving it. She will spot something across the room and just go for it, when she gets there she gives you this really pleased smile, so it is lovely to watch I suppose.
She's also really chatting at the moment. Joe and I are convinced that she's been saying dog, if you listen closely to her it sounds like she's saying lots of things. She's rather like her mummy, she does talk for England, but I suppose she hasn't had any other example as I never shut up!!!!
Henry is still loving her, but I'm not sure for how much longer. Today he had to get up a couple of times when she slithered over and wanted to poke him. Thank goodness he seems to be a fairly laid back dog. Imogen certainly enjoys him more than anything else (hence I can believe that she would say dog as I'm always talking about Henry to her).
Here she is modelling the latest cardi I knit for her (though in the meantime I've just finished two others and they're getting better and better so get your orders in if you like) and you can also see her top teeth. She's got three now and the fourth has literally just broken through yesterday (finally!!!!!).
